Job Description:

Disability Support Worker (DDSO1/1Q) – Hamilton. At Scope, we celebrate people, we excel together, we act bravely. We’re seeking people who can create meaningful opportunities for people with disability to belong and thrive. 4x Casual roles located in Hamilton. This home suits staff who are reliable, composed, and confident working autonomously when required.

Job Responsibility:

  • Build warm, respectful, person-centred relationships
  • Follow behaviour support strategies consistently
  • Support independence while maintaining structure and reassurance
  • Communicate clearly, calmly and predictably
  • Assist with daily-living tasks, health routines, and community participation
  • Be confident supporting residents independently
  • Be able to make safe, calm decisions without immediate on-site backup
  • Strong adherence to plans, routines, safety procedures, and documentation is essential
  • Be comfortable managing personal care, health routines, and behavioural supports independently
  • Have access to on-call support and established escalation pathways

Requirements:

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance and Working with Children's Check (Employee)
  • Current Level 2 First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • Valid Australian Working Rights and an International Police Check if you have lived or worked overseas for more than one (1) year within the last ten years
  • Valid VIC drivers Licence
