About the role: We are currently seeking reliable and compassionate disability support workers to provide support and assistance to a 26-year old female with a traumatic brain injury, this care will help her live independently in her home. Applicants must be interested in fitness and be willing to walk with her a distance of 3 klms daily, prefers male workers between the ages of 26 and 36 years of age. Duties include but not limited to: Community access for appointments and social outings; Support fitness program (regularly attends the gym); Assistance with Allied health tasks; Manual handling; Domestic assistance; Cooking meals; Documentation and reporting. You will be supported by qualified healthcare professionals and would get the necessary training and skills to do the best job you can. Shift times available: Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm.
