Disability Support Worker

• Provide individualised support to people living with disability by assisting them with daily living activities and promoting independence and wellbeing
• Provide support, assisting our residential participants to live as independently as possible, whether they have complex needs or just need some additional support at home

• Experience in both one-on-one and group support settings
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Flexibility to work varying shifts
• A current driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
• Ability to assist in managing behaviours and implementing positive behaviour support strategies
• Flexibility to work various shifts including days, evening, early morning, weekends and sleepovers (penalty rates apply)
• Required to undertake a 'Fit2Work' National Criminal History Check
• Hold or be willing to obtain a Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Check

A Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) is advantageous
