Job Description:

We are currently seeking reliable and compassionate disability support workers to provide full care and assistance to a 50 year old male with a spinal cord injury, he is ventilated at night via BiPap machine, this care will help him live in his family home.

Job Responsibility:

  • Ventilation and tracheostomy management
  • Full personal care
  • Medication administration
  • Continence management
  • RIG feeding
  • Assistance with Allied health tasks
  • Cough assist machine
  • Manual handling
  • Domestic tasks
  • Documentation and reporting

Requirements:

  • Applicants must have good English speaking skills
  • Previous care experience
  • Current references
  • Mobile phone
  • Current driver's licence and your own car (mandatory)
  • NDIS workers screening check or willing to obtain (mandatory)
  • First Aid certificate or willing to obtain (mandatory)
  • Paid WWCC (Working with Children's check) or willing to obtain
  • Passionate about caring and committed to client wellbeing
