My Supports is an organisation led by people with firsthand experience in disability. As a Disability Support Worker, you'll join a vibrant local Neighbourhood Team with a close-knit group of fellow support workers, all led by an experienced Team Leader. Our Team Leaders offer day-to-day support and guidance, collaborating with you to understand our clients' needs. This approach helps us deliver person-centred, community-inclusive supports.
Job Responsibility:
Assisting client with personal care
Getting them ready for school
Preparing and feeding client food
Light cleaning duties
Requirements:
Permanent Australian Working Rights (Preferred)
Australian Driver's Licence (Preferred)
Comprehensive Car Insurance (Required upon commencement)
NDIS Worker Orientation Module (Required upon commencement)
NDIS Worker Screening Check (Required upon commencement)
An enthusiastic and friendly outlook
A compassionate and empathetic demeanour
Strong listening and communication skills, along with patience
Excellent relationship-building skills
The ability to maintain clear professional boundaries
Nice to have:
Familiar with Hindu culture
Potentially be able to speak Hindi
