Job Responsibility:
Providing vital administrative support to students
Managing and responding to student queries with efficiency and empathy
Developing and implementing robust support plans for students with Specific Learning Differences (SpLD), mental health needs, and autism
Collaborating closely with students to address their unique requirements
Maintaining meticulous records and documentation
Liaising effectively with various university departments and external organizations
Contributing to the ongoing enhancement of student support services
Engaging in continuous professional development and relevant training
Requirements:
2+ years of experience as a disability Advisor
Minimum of 2 years of experience in supporting students or individuals with disabilities and/or mental health challenges
Previous experience working with SpLD, mental health, and autism
Immediate availability to commence employment
Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach
Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail
Proficiency in using the Microsoft Office Suite
Demonstrated ability to support plan development
Awareness and understanding of disability support and mental health principles
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as social work, counseling, or education
Nice to have:
Previous experience working with SpLD, mental health, and autism is highly advantageous
