Job Description

A Director is required to lead the South East offices Lease Advisory team. You will be joining a market leading team of 30 Surveyors based across JLL’s UK office network having the opportunity to be part of influencing the future growth strategy for our UK Lease Advisory business. The primary aspect of the role will involve providing advice to JLL’s investor and occupiers clients in connection to rent reviews, lease renewals, lease re-gearing and surrender assignments within the south east office market.

Job Responsibility

  • Actively manage the national and international client base, to deliver the financial goals for the wider London and SE team
  • Undertake lease advisory assignments commensurate with the role
  • Target business development opportunities working with colleagues within the Group, and colleagues from other disciplines, across the wider firm
  • Look at strategic hires to bolster the Lease Advisory business and develop the skills and potential of team members
  • Provide accurate management information to the Head of UK Lease Advisory
  • Delivering year on year income and margin growth
  • Manage fee negotiations, billings, all team projects and debt recovery
  • Provide advice to JLL’s investor and occupiers clients in connection to rent reviews, lease renewals, lease re-gearing and surrender assignments within the south east office market
  • Provide general lease and rental advice to clients and colleagues across the firm
  • Play a key role in targeting new opportunities, working in conjunction with agency, investment and the other professional teams

Requirements

  • Good working knowledge of the south east office markets and client base
  • Experience of rent review, lease re-gear and lease renewal negotiations
  • Experience of Expert Witness reporting writing is essential
  • Enthusiastic, self-driven and collaborative
  • Agile, trustworthy, courageous, innovative
  • Full driving license and access to a car
