Reality Labs (RL) at Meta is a pioneer in the development and manufacturing of innovative AI-enabled Wearable, Virtual, and Augmented Reality Devices & Products. We are seeking an innovative Business Operations Leader within our Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Development Engineering (SS & SDE) organization, who is well-versed in the application of AI-tools across business processes, is execution-driven, and fluent in the mechanics and operational rhythms of strategic sourcing, supplier development, and high-tech consumer electronics. This role combines business operations, sourcing strategy, AI-enabled process design, and organizational leadership. The ideal candidate brings an understanding of the unique complexity inherent to consumer electronics hardware supply chain, global manufacturing ecosystems, materials program management, and supplier capability development.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead a global team of 6+ Business Operations professionals and data analysts to enable accurate, durable and efficient data-based decisions across internal & external Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Development Engineering processes
  • Lead the team to design and implement AI-enabled tools and systems to enable data integrity & productivity across workstreams including but not limited to process governance, spend analysis, cost management, material management, and resource budgeting
  • Actively balance, manage, and influence the deployment of quick short-term productivity tools with longer-term complex data systems across the SS & SDE Org
  • Lead across multiple cross-organizational strategic initiatives focused on efficiency and operational rigor, sponsored by leadership
  • Lead through internal teams to effectively bring a portfolio of productivity initiatives to fruition
  • Actively monitor initiatives progress towards goals with greater focus on ROI, efficiency, and internal customer feedback
  • Own organizational communications including executive updates, strategic narratives, and business reviews

Requirements

  • B.S. degree in Supply Chain or related field
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in fast growing consumer electronics industry
  • 5+ years of prior experience in recruiting, onboarding, managing and growing global teams in strategic sourcing, contract manufacturing, or business operations facing roles
  • Recent hands on operating role in global supply management, contract Management in fast growing consumer electronics sectors
  • Proven track record of building and scaling AI tools and data-driven systems for workflow automation, insight generation, and operational decision support
  • Demonstrated success building operational mechanisms and scaling complex, cross-functional organizations
  • Demonstrated experience adapting to changing priorities and business needs within a dynamic environment
  • Effective communication skills with experience synthesizing information and proposals, and driving cross-functional alignment across leadership & working level teams
