Job Description

The Director – Special Projects role will be responsible for manage Large, Complex F&A Projects in multi–country, multi–lingual in a Global Shared Service environment. The incumbent will be required to Monitor and drive Finance Transformation projects for NTT Data and its affiliates, ultimately lead to the successful completion of the projects

Job Responsibility

  • Monitor and drive Finance Transformation projects for NTT Data and its affiliates, ultimately lead to the successful completion of the projects
  • Ability to design End State Global Finance Processes
  • In-depth Knowledge of End-to-End Transitions, Stable state Transformation
  • Ability to drive Process Migration / Transition Projects. Should have done at least 5-10 transition projects
  • Track the Projects & capture Cost savings from Process Improvement projects
  • Liaison with various Global support teams (IT, HR, Finance) & External Vendors (whenever required)
  • Standardization of F&A processes across teams / geographies and identifying areas of improvement
  • Report the project status, along with the above-mentioned issues, to the appropriate stakeholders in a timely manner based on urgency and importance
  • Develop and be accountable for Project work plans, ensuring all tasks are delivered in a timely/cost effective manner, anticipating scope issues and obtaining agreement on changes to work plan
  • Identify opportunities for the team to own greater responsibilities and create transition plans where required
  • To ensure process excellence in business process design, re-engineering and management to system implementation
  • Enable development of unique execution frameworks, bundling of technology & process to accelerate strategy execution
  • Analyze common processing mistakes (internal & external), do root cause analysis and assist in the development of training materials and delivery of presentations
  • Manage Escalations, identify root cause and come up process improvement and put controls in place

Requirements

  • Graduate in Commerce. MBA (Finance)
  • 15-18 years Total Experience, out of which at least 6 - 8 Years in Finance domain Transitions
  • Global experience of working with teams across Geographies will be given preference
  • MS Word/Excel/Outlook/Visio
  • Fluent in business English
  • both written and verbal communication skills essential
  • Open to work in Flexible Shifts & Hybrid Work Environment
  • Extended hours may be required in meet deadlines. Would be required to work with colleagues across different geographies and time zones
  • Must demonstrate a strong commitment to integrity, internal controls and data privacy
  • Should be a Good Team Player & Process driven person
  • Must be able to manage multiple priorities and able to work well in a fast paced, dynamic environment
