Job Description

At Microsoft, we are reimagining sourcing — moving from manual workflows to AI‑accelerated, self‑service, and insight‑driven experiences that unlock speed, cost savings, and better decisions at enterprise scale. The Director of Sourcing Transformation is accountable for end‑to‑end ownership of sourcing transformation across the full Source‑to‑Contract lifecycle. This includes intake and orchestration, sourcing, contracting and supplier management experiences, and adjacent travel and expense capabilities. The role sets multi‑year vision, prioritizes investments, manages risk and dependencies, and ensures benefits realization at enterprise scale. As Director of Sourcing Transformation, you will own the enterprise strategy, roadmap, and execution for game-changing impact sourcing and procurement transformation initiatives. This role blends business strategy, product thinking, technology leadership, and change management to fundamentally reshape how sourcing delivers value across Microsoft. You will operate as a senior leader across Procurement, Finance, Engineering, Legal, and external partners, inspiring executive stakeholders through compelling storytelling while delivering durable outcomes through modern platforms, AI- and agentic-enabled solutions, and scalable operating models. As a people leader, you will model a culture of experimentation, inclusion, and accountability — empowering leaders and teams to focus on work that drives meaningful and measurable business impact.
