We’re now looking for a Director to join our Northern Europe Services Business Development team in a creative, marketing-driven function. The role combines business development with marketing strategy, focused on selling our high-quality marketing, loyalty and personalization capabilities to our customers covering Financial Institutions, Retailers and Fintechs.

Job Responsibility:

  • Shape and execute the Services growth strategy in Northern Europe, with a strong focus on personalization, loyalty and marketing services
  • Develop compelling client narratives and proposals tailored for CMOs and senior stakeholders, ensuring alignment with Mastercard’s broader objectives
  • Lead initiatives in partnership with internal teams and clients to deliver impactful solutions that drive measurable results
  • Define and track KPIs for adoption, revenue growth, internal alignment, and client impact, including cross-sell, upsell, and overall revenue targets
  • Leverage data and insights to evaluate performance, identify what’s working, and adjust strategies for continuous improvement
  • Influence senior leadership through credible storytelling backed by proven results and market insights
  • Identify new market segments and partnership opportunities to close capability gaps and strengthen Mastercard’s position
  • Collaborate across product, marketing, and regional teams to ensure seamless delivery and maximize client value

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in marketing-driven environments (creative agencies, loyalty, personalization) combined with sales/business development expertise
  • Strong ability to craft persuasive proposals and influence senior stakeholders
  • Familiarity with customer engagement strategies, loyalty programs, and personalization technologies
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills
  • ability to convey complex ideas effectively in English (Dutch is an advantage)
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and manage complex projects
  • Undergraduate degree required
