Job Description:

The Director, Sales Compensation Tooling & Data is responsible for the end-to-end strategy, delivery, and operational health of World Wide Incentive Compensation (WWIC’s) tooling, data platforms, and seller facing experiences that enable accurate, timely, and scalable incentive compensation globally. This role serves as the single accountable business owner for compensation tooling and data readiness across plan design, quota, metrics, earnings, payouts, and seller support experiences. The leader partners with Engineering, Finance, HR, RevOps, and Analytics to modernize platforms, reduce manual work, and improve seller trust and transparency. This position plays a critical leadership role in WWIC’s multiyear transformation agenda, including modernization of compensation systems, AI enabled experiences, and process simplification.

Job Responsibility:

  • Own the business strategy and roadmap for WWIC tooling, including compensation systems, data platforms, and seller/leader experiences
  • Act as the primary business interface to Engineering, setting priorities, defining requirements, managing trade‑offs, and aligning delivery to fiscal timelines
  • Ensure tooling solutions are scalable, compliant, and aligned to global WWIC operating models
  • Own end-to-end data readiness for incentives, including metrics registration, feasibility assessment, downstream consumption, and payout integrity
  • Partner with Finance, Planning, and Analytics teams to validate data sources, dependencies, and support models
  • Drive reduction of manual workarounds through automation, validation tooling, and improved data architecture
  • Champion the seller and leader experience for incentives, focusing on clarity, transparency, and reduced friction
  • Partner with Change Management and Enablement teams to ensure tooling changes are landed effectively and supported with clear guidance
  • Act as an escalation point for complex tooling, data, and payout issues with high business impact
  • Lead major transformation initiatives across tooling, AI/agents, and process modernization in support of WWIC’s FY26–FY28 roadmap
  • Drive prioritization across competing initiatives, balancing near‑term fiscal execution with long‑term platform health
  • Influence senior stakeholders across MCAPS, Finance, HR, and Engineering on modernization strategy and sequencing
  • Lead and develop a high‑impact team of PMs, ICs, and cross‑functional partners
  • Operate as a trusted advisor to WWIC leadership on tooling, data, and execution risks
  • Build strong cross‑team partnerships across WWIC, RevOps, Engineering, Finance, and HR

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Economics, or related field AND 10+ years experience in compensation, business management and operations, finance and analytics, human resources and people analytics, marketing, or sales strategy OR equivalent experience
  • 9+ years of experience in sales compensation, revenue operations, finance systems, or enterprise tooling/data platforms
  • Experience leading large, cross‑functional programs with complex dependencies and senior stakeholder engagement
  • Experience with incentive compensation mechanics, metrics, quotas, payouts, and seller operations
  • Business‑to‑engineering partnership experience (requirements, prioritization, delivery governance)
  • Demonstrated ability to operate in ambiguous, high‑change environments and drive clarity and execution
  • Experience with global compensation systems and fiscal‑year execution models
  • Background in data platforms, analytics, or financial systems supporting large sales organizations
  • Experience driving platform modernization or transformation programs
