Job Description

As Director Retail Stores & Partner Channels, you will spearhead and scale one of Westwing's most important and strategic business initiatives - leading the expansion of our physical presence into one of our strongest growth drivers for the next decade. You will identify strategic priorities and drive brand experience while delivering significant customer and P&L upsides. In this role, you will make our brand and products physically experienceable, bridging the gap between digital discovery and real-world inspiration while driving a holistic omnichannel strategy. You will lead and build a world-class, customer-driven Stores organisation of currently ~70 people and define the right store strategy and concept for our success. Your mission is to establish the foundation to expand our Stores network while ensuring clear accountability for store economics, and scaling our partner channels.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead the Stores business unit with a relentless focus on sales and operational excellence
  • Spearhead a expansion strategy including site selection, lease negotiations and store architecture
  • Build and scale partner channels and wholesale business
  • Own the full P&L and leverage data, analytics, automation and process optimisation
  • Hire, build, lead and inspire an ambitious team

Requirements

  • Proven leadership experience (7+ years) in senior retail operations
  • Extensive track record in scaling retail networks and driving commercial growth
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both German and English
  • A strong, innovative, aesthetic sense and understanding of the premium segment
  • Flexibility to travel to various Store locations as required
  • Experience in managing diverse growth channels, such as Franchise, Wholesale, or Partner Channels in relevant industries is a plus
