Job Description

The Cairo ROC Director reports to the Global ROC Director and will be part of the Global ROCs Leadership Team. The Cairo ROC Director is responsible to support the Global ROC Director to define the best implementation plans to build the Cairo ROC, and coordinate and liaise with stakeholders in Onshore on running the business as usual ensuring correct and timely deliverables. The Cairo ROC Director is responsible to support the Global ROC director to define an implement an effective measurement and management of Cairo team capacity and performance with emphasis on transformation that aligns with the Worldpanel modernisation strategy. The Person will be focused in people management and continuously improve Operational processes to make them more efficient and consistent globally aligned, reliable and cost effective. As a member of the Managers team is responsible to work in a team spirit.

  • Overall, global leadership of Cairo ROC
  • establishing and building a hard-working and highly engaged team of Operations experts that services Cairo ROC stakeholders
  • Define plans to achieve assigned objectives, to ensure that it is recognized for the successful execution of work, regional and global
  • Support the Global ROC Director to designing and implementing processes and procedures that make ROC (Cairo ROC included) the best way to deliver market-leading data to our customers globally
  • Support the Global ROC Director to design, implementation and management of processes to ensure work is accurately defined and managed in the Cairo ROCs that include: intake (estimating and resourcing new and migrating work), capacity management and prioritisation (including roadmaps), change management and ongoing review of operational efficiencies, onboarding and training, governance, indicators, and metrics (for performance and data quality), stakeholder management, workflow and tools and communications
  • Align Cairo ROC performance management to be consistent across different ROCs
  • Talent management (including career progression) in Cairo ROC, ensuring that attract and retain elite talent
  • Collaboration across Worldpanel ROCs teams and local stakeholders to align on procedures, approaches, and tools for effective delivery of Operations tasks and projects
  • Effective stakeholder management (internal and external to Worldpanel) and the ability to successfully navigate conflict to arrive at successful business outcomes
  • Governance of Cairo ROC processes and practices to ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations
  • Governance of Cairo ROC processes and practices to ensure internal (Worldpanel) and external (client) data quality requirements are met

Requirements

  • Relevant experience of 10+ years in handling large-scale operations
  • 5+ years of senior management/leadership experience in handling large teams, hierarchies and functions
  • Excellent communication (English language proficiency essential)
  • Experience in the management of regional teams and programmes
  • Exposure to global initiatives
  • Experience in prioritisation and change management in a complex, matrixed environment
  • Comfortable working to tight deadlines in a client-centric culture where change is an integral part Business As Usual (BAU)
  • Deep understanding of end-to-end Operations management techniques and tools and how to implement and use them for success
  • Experience in a regional data-driven environment
  • Ability to engage and collaborate with multiple stakeholders across business groups
  • Comfortable working and collaborate in a matrixed environment across different countries and cultures
  • Compelling and demonstrable communication skills (English language proficiency essential)
