As a Director at Capital One, you will drive strategy and execute on high priority projects for the Dealer line of business in Financial Services. You will collaborate with smart and passionate leaders to influence results that have a direct impact on the company’s bottom line. You will take on important and exciting responsibility from day one, working with key stakeholders across the company. More specifically, you will lead the Dealer Services Command Center. As the Command Center leader, you will lead a diverse team of process managers, transaction testers, and project managers who are all focused on delivering for our customers while caring for critical risks in our business. You lead the PMO (project execution and change delivery) function. This role requires a strategic partner in chartering the next several years of growth of this organization.

Job Responsibility:

  • Strategic Leadership: Lead and develop a command center team to support complex, integrated programs across multiple Dealer Experiences and/or the Financial Services Division
  • Project & Program Management: Lead multiple moderate to large complex projects and programs by providing strategic direction to projects, peers, and direct reports
  • Governance & Operations: Lead the team to deliver against metrics, regulatory requirements, customer requests, and strategic initiatives in a well managed way
  • Communication & Influence: Develop executive-level presentation materials for internal and external stakeholders
  • Team Development: Display a passion for coaching and developing a team of associates within their respective job families

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience
  • At least 7 Years of Project Management or Chief of Staff experience
  • At least 5 Years of People Management experience
