Job Description:

Our Director, Programmatic is responsible for leading a group of Programmatic clients and client team(s) at DEPT. This role will work cross-functionally with our Activation teams and other paid media leads to deliver integrated media solutions. This role will also require that you partner closely with our Integrated Media Strategy and Decision Sciences teams on client engagements and build the best possible cross-channel solutions for the brands we work with. Our Director, Programmatic is responsible for leading successful Programmatic campaigns through media buying sophistication and operational excellence. This position is responsible for leading and mentoring a team of Associate Director and Managers.

Job Responsibility:

  • Embedding yourself and key programmatic team members in with our client services team in order to provide client first recommendations and programmatic leadership

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of Programmatic media experience, preferably in Display/Video/CTV/Native/Audio/OOH
  • Robust experience and expertise in retail marketplaces including Walmart, Target and Best Buy
  • Fluent in a variety of DSPs Amazon, DV360, and TTD preferred), and Ad Servers
  • Proven prior work experience managing a team of direct reports / team members and demonstrated ability to mentor and develop direct reports into more senior roles
  • Experience acting as the senior owner of the Programmatic client relationship with success managing client expectations and keeping a high score for positive client sentiment
  • Experience maximizing sales across an omnichannel retail media mix
  • Strong problem solving, strategic mindset and communication skills

  • Being a deck-building story telling wizard
  • Deep experience in Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ad Manager, and other ad tech
  • Experience in data analysis and visualization (Data Studio, Tableau, etc.)
