Job Description

The Director, Product - Provider Experience & Payments is a senior leader within the Product & Technology organization responsible for defining and executing the product strategy for Zelis’ provider-facing payment solutions, including ZAPP Edge/ACH+, ePayment Center (ePC), and related provider engagement capabilities. This role sits at the intersection of Product, Technology, and Commercial Growth, translating Zelis Payments market strategy into scalable, high-impact provider solutions.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead the provider payments product domain within the broader Product & Technology organization
  • Define and execute a multi-year roadmap for ZAPP Edge/ACH+, ePC, and related provider-facing payment capabilities
  • Ensure product strategy aligns with technology scalability, security, compliance, and operational excellence standards
  • Partner with Engineering leadership to balance innovation, technical debt management, and platform performance
  • Partner closely with the Product Strategy team to translate Zelis Payments market strategy and competitive positioning into actionable product roadmaps
  • Align product investments with growth objectives
  • Provide product expertise to inform pricing, packaging, market segmentation, and expansion strategies
  • Serve as a key liaison within the Provider-centric Operating Model
  • Own the provider payments value proposition across digital enrollment, ACH+/EFT adoption, payment delivery, reconciliation, and reporting

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • advanced degree preferred
  • 12–15+ years of progressive product management experience, with significant experience in payments, fintech, healthcare payments, or revenue cycle technology
  • 5+ years leading product teams within a Product & Technology organization
  • Proven ability to partner effectively with Product Strategy and Commercial Growth teams to drive revenue-aligned roadmaps
  • Demonstrated success scaling digital payment products (ACH, EFT, virtual card, or similar rails) with measurable growth outcomes
  • Strong understanding of provider financial workflows and healthcare reimbursement ecosystems
