Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Data Center Architect to drive strategic engagement with hyperscale and large-scale data center customers. This role will serve as a critical bridge between customer architecture teams and internal engineering, shaping next-generation infrastructure solutions leveraging custom ASIC and FPGA technologies. The ideal candidate has deep experience working directly with hyperscalers, understands large-scale data center design tradeoffs, and has a proven track record influencing platform architectures across networking, server control, and storage domains.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead technical engagement with hyperscalers and mega data center customers to define next-generation platform architectures
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to customer architecture, silicon, and infrastructure teams across multiple functional areas
  • Drive alignment between customer requirements and internal roadmap for custom ASIC and FPGA-based solutions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and business teams to shape solution strategy and execution
  • Define and influence architectures across key domains including: High-performance NIC / networking acceleration
  • Server platform control / manageability (BMC, DC-SCM, etc.)
  • Storage virtualization and data movement acceleration
  • Translate hyperscaler use cases into scalable product and platform requirements
  • Support business development efforts including customer presentations, executive engagements, and long-term strategic planning

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in data center architecture, silicon platforms, or hyperscaler infrastructure
  • Proven experience working directly with hyperscalers or large-scale cloud/data center operators
  • Strong cross-functional engagement skills with customer engineering, architecture, and operations teams
  • Deep technical experience in custom ASIC design and/or FPGA-based solutions
  • Solid understanding of modern data center architecture, including networking, compute, storage, and system management
  • Experience influencing or defining platform architectures in large-scale deployments

Nice to have

  • Expertise in one or more focus areas: SmartNICs / DPUs / network offload architectures
  • Server management and platform control (BMC, firmware, system management)
  • Storage acceleration, disaggregation, and virtualization
  • Experience bringing custom silicon solutions from concept to deployment at hyperscale
  • Familiarity with PCIe, CXL, high-speed interconnects, and data center protocols
  • Ability to operate at both deep technical and executive engagement levels
