Job Description:

Meta is seeking a visionary and results-driven Director of Product Marketing to lead a critical area of business and core company priority. This is a leadership role for a business builder—a strategic executive who will own the product marketing lifecycle, brand affinity, and revenue generation across a portfolio of products, including Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Threads, Meta AI, and Reality Labs. You will be the vital link connecting our commercial objectives, groundbreaking product strategy, and brand narrative. This role demands a unique combination of analytical rigor, deep country-level market expertise, and an unwavering focus on delivering measurable ROI for a thriving app/software subscription ecosystem. You will operate with significant autonomy, setting the direction for your business unit, building alignment across a complex matrix, and acting as a thought leader to Meta's executive teams.

Job Responsibility:

  • Strategic Leadership: Establish and drive a clear, data-backed framework for prioritizing product and marketing investments across your business portfolio, ensuring alignment with Meta’s long-term strategic goals
  • Business Ownership: Lead the end-to-end business unit, influencing product roadmaps and business strategy by serving as the authoritative voice for global consumer and creator needs and untapped market opportunities
  • Team Development: Cultivate and inspire a diverse, high-performing team of product marketing professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, mentorship, and continuous growth
  • Go-to-Market Execution: Design, lead, and rapidly execute high-impact go-to-market strategies, communications, and growth initiatives, partnering with Product Management, Comms, and Product Growth teams to achieve ambitious business objectives and monetization goals
  • Cross-Functional Catalyst: Build highly productive internal partnerships, leveraging exceptional communication and collaboration skills to influence senior stakeholders, resolve organizational conflicts, and drive consensus to execute a unified strategy
  • Financial Stewardship: Maximize the return on investment (ROI) for a multi-million dollar budget dedicated to supporting and expanding the subscription monetization ecosystem
  • Market Insight: Work hands-on with key partners to accelerate project milestones and drive product-market fit, including prioritizing critical audience use cases and precisely identifying and sizing key global markets for targeting

Requirements:

  • 15+ years of progressive experience in Marketing, Product Management, Management Consulting, or Business Strategy, with a track record of driving significant business growth
  • Proven experience in Product Marketing, developing and executing global go-to-market strategies and partnering closely with product and engineering teams
  • Extensive experience leading, developing, and motivating diverse, multidisciplinary teams across geographical regions
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of complex, ambiguous, and time-sensitive programs with significant self-direction
  • Deep expertise in the app/software subscription and/or e-commerce ecosystem, with a thorough understanding of the customer lifecycle from acquisition through engagement, retention, and resurrection
  • Proven experience creating foundational market requirement documents, including sophisticated audience definition, positioning statements, and compelling value propositions
