Job Description

The Advanced Analytics team drives Credit Risk solutions and products that are globally scalable and provide value to the various parts of the credit lifecycle value chain. Developing relevant solutions that solve our customer’s credit risk problems while leveraging Mastercard assets is a key differentiator to grow revenue for our retail and commercial clients. Credit Risk management area serves as a key differentiator to optimize and grow revenue from consumers and small businesses for Mastercard. To this end, developing and managing a suite of product solutions through internal and external partnerships, creative constructs, solid frameworks and executable roadmaps are crucial drivers for commercialization and business impact. This role is for a Director, Product Management that will work across regional Product, Client Services & Delivery, Data & Engineering and the broader O&T teams to deliver truly differentiated Credit products, leveraging rich data resources, AI platform capabilities and near real-time execution.

Job Responsibility

  • Maintain and manage product roadmap, ensuring feature prioritisation, product release planning and alignment with strategic objectives
  • Product management, including updating product documentation, monitoring budget and working closely with Product Owner on updates and reporting
  • Conceptualise solutions and features to meet customer needs, using feedback from and collaborating with customer facing teams
  • Create business requirements to support product development and take it through the elaborations with internal and external stakeholders as required
  • Help develop and maintain strategic product plans, including analysis of revenue opportunities, costs and risks
  • Analyze market trends, dynamics, and competition in order to inform product and go-to-market strategies
  • Provide support to sales and customer facing teams with communication and training on product functionality and roadmaps
  • Involvement in idea generation for enhancements to our products, including concept validation, business case development and planning

  • Have experience of interaction with internal and external stakeholders at all levels, through participation in meetings, workshops and events, and be a strong, confident writer and speaker, able to communicate vision and roadmap effectively to a wide variety of stakeholders
  • Have financial and business acumen, as well as an understanding of the Mastercard organization’s strategic goals and mission
