Job Description:

The Director Pricing and Commercial Operations responsibilities include but are not limited to serving as a player/coach, analyzing data to develop pricing strategies, leading business processes, and driving the value proposition with customers to grow revenue for Pfizer's US HBU business.

Job Responsibility:

  • Serve as a “player/coach” with the ability to manage their individual Triad responsibilities and lead a team of four Sr. Managers
  • Ability to coach and mentor their direct reports
  • Analyzing, interpreting, and translating data into actionable insights and recommendations
  • developing and recommending pricing/contracting strategies and alternatives for his/her assigned portion of the portfolio
  • gaining and leveraging understanding of key customers to develop practical and effective pricing recommendations
  • remaining well-informed of emerging external trends and market dynamics
  • leading the weekly Run-the-Business (RtB) process for his/her assigned portfolio
  • supporting the Go-To-Market process by leading market analyses and developing pricing/strategy recommendations for new product launches
  • leading the tactical processes to recommended annual/mid-year list price increases and strategic list price decreases
  • ideating, developing, redesigning, and/or enhancing key analytics tools, reports, and processes
  • being a highly engaged strategic thinker who operates with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • providing support to ensure Latest Estimates (LEs) and Operating Plans are strategically aligned
  • leading other strategic / pan portfolio initiatives as necessary with strong collaboration and project management
