Job Description

Lime is looking for a dynamic, forward-thinking People leader to join our team as Director, Global People Solutions. As we enter our next stage of growth, you’ll design the Lime’s People infrastructure, advancing our systems, processes, and service delivery to build efficient, compliant, and employee-centered operations. You’ll lead a global team focused on operational excellence across people (HR) systems and operations, ensuring our foundation scales with the business.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead and evolve People Solutions: Oversee a global team responsible for people operations, and HRIS (including Workday management), ensuring accuracy, compliance, and exceptional service delivery across all employee touchpoints
  • Modernize our tools: Oversee Lime’s HR technology strategy, including Workday optimization, automation, integrations, and vendor management, driving digital transformation and efficiency
  • Drive operational excellence: Ensure timely and accurate handling of employee support requests and transactions in line with SLAs, compliance standards, and teammate expectations
  • Own payroll operations: Own payroll operations in partnership with Finance, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with global regulatory and reporting requirements
  • Ensure compliance: Partner with Legal, Compliance, and COEs to ensure adherence to all state, federal, and international labor requirements, including documentation, background checks, onboarding/offboarding, leaves, investigations, and record retention
  • Simplify through partnership:: Collaborate with IT, Finance, Legal and People COEs to align systems, policies, and processes that enable consistent and scalable People practices
  • Use data to improve: Analyze case trends, service metrics, and workload distribution to identify and implement improvements in processes and automation, ultimately enhancing the teammate experience
  • Develop the team: Mentor, coach, and develop a high-performing People Solutions team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and exceptional service
  • Manage change: Drive adoption of new tools and processes through clear communication, training, and change management, ensuring understanding and engagement at all levels

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in People Operations, HR Systems, or related fields, with demonstrated success leading global teams in transforming and scaling systems for growth
  • Proven ability to design and execute scalable People processes with a global mindset across diverse geographies and functions
  • Deep expertise in HR technology ecosystems, ideally Workday, with a strong understanding of automation, integrations, and data integrity
  • Skilled in balancing compliance rigor with user experience and operational efficiency
  • Experienced in payroll operations and governance, with knowledge of global compliance standards
  • Collaborative leader who builds trust and alignment across People, Finance, IT, and Legal teams
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with a bias toward simplification and clarity
  • Strategic mindset with hands-on capability - able to shift between long-term design and day-to-day enablement
