Job Description

This is a hands-on, strategic leadership role focused on integrating newly acquired entities, harmonizing HR systems and processes, and designing best-in-class total rewards programs. This leader will serve as both a strategic advisor and tactical operator, ensuring consistency, compliance, and operational excellence across a distributed workforce of hourly and salaried employees. The role requires a builder mindset, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to influence stakeholders from executive leadership to field-based teams.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead the development and execution of a unified People Operations infrastructure, consolidating and harmonizing HR systems and processes
  • Drive HR systems transformation, including implementation and integration of enterprise HCM/HRIS platforms
  • Partner cross-functionally to support M&A due diligence and lead seamless HR integration of acquired entities, including harmonizing benefits, policies, and processes
  • Design and lead total rewards strategy, including compensation structures, benefits programs, and vendor partnerships to ensure competitiveness and cost-effectiveness
  • Oversee HRIS ownership, ensuring data integrity, scalability, and system efficiency across multiple locations
  • Build and deliver people analytics and reporting frameworks, providing leadership with actionable insights and KPI tracking
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures aligned with federal, state, local, and global regulations
  • Lead compensation strategy and job architecture development across both field-based and corporate teams
  • Oversee payroll processes in partnership with finance, as well as benefits administration and vendor management
  • Drive process improvements to enhance employee experience and operational efficiency
  • Partner with leadership to support engagement, retention, and culture initiatives across a distributed workforce

Requirements

  • 8–12+ years of progressive HR/People Operations and total rewards leadership experience in high-growth or investor-backed environments
  • Proven success building and scaling HR systems, processes, and infrastructure in multi-entity or acquisitive organizations
  • Experience leading HR M&A integrations, including due diligence and post-acquisition harmonization
  • Strong expertise in total rewards strategy, including compensation design and benefits administration
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., BambooHR, ADP, Rippling) and implementation of enterprise systems such as Workday, Oracle HCM, or UKG
  • Experience supporting multi-site, field-based workforces, ideally within healthcare services, biotech, or clinical research environments
  • Strong analytical skills with experience leveraging data to inform decisions and measure impact
  • Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field required
