We are seeking a visionary and decisive Director of People & Culture to join our leadership team in Phu Quoc, Vietnam. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape our organization's human resources strategies and foster a positive, high-performance culture in a dynamic island setting.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and implement strategic People & Culture initiatives aligned with organizational goals
Lead and mentor a team of People & Culture professionals, ensuring excellence in all People & Culture functions
Drive talent acquisition, retention, and development strategies to support business growth
Oversee performance management processes and initiatives to optimize employee productivity
Spearhead organizational development programs to enhance company culture and employee engagement
Collaborate with senior leadership to address complex employee relations issues and mitigate risks
Analyze People & Culture metrics and provide data-driven insights to inform decision-making
Ensure compliance with Vietnamese labor laws and regulations
Manage the People & Culture budget and resource allocation effectively
Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives across the organization
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Master's degree preferred
7+ years of progressive HR experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role
Proven expertise in strategic People & Culture planning, talent management, and organizational development
Strong knowledge of Vietnamese labor laws and regulations
Experience with HR analytics and data-driven decision-making
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and drive change initiatives
Proficiency in HR information systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
Experience in cross-cultural management and international People & Culture practices
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Fluency in English
proficiency in Vietnamese is a must
