Job Description

The Director, People Business Partner (PBP), Americas partners with senior business leaders to deliver people strategies that drive performance, growth, and culture across the region. This role provides strategic counsel on talent management, organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, workforce planning, engagement, change leadership, and complex employee matters. Operating as a trusted advisor, the Director translates enterprise people strategy into practical, regionally relevant solutions while ensuring consistency, and strong execution across the Americas. The role collaborates closely with global and regional leaders, People Specialists, Centers of Excellence, and shared services partners to deliver scalable, high-quality people outcomes. Success in this role requires strong business acumen, influence, sound judgment, and the ability to operate effectively in a highly matrixed, global environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Translate enterprise people strategy into actionable regional plans aligned to business priorities and culture commitments
  • Partner with senior leaders to anticipate workforce needs and address capability gaps
  • Lead regional talent processes including talent reviews, succession planning, performance management, and compensation planning
  • Champion talent crosspollination across teams to build capability, broaden experience, and strengthen enterprise leadership pipelines
  • Advise leaders on organizational design, role clarity, career paths, and leadership structures to enable scale and agility
  • Coach senior leaders and people managers on leadership effectiveness, team dynamics, and complex people matters
  • Champion inclusive, engaging employee experiences that strengthen culture and engagement across the Americas
  • Serve as the regional liaison to People Centers of Excellence and shared services partners

Requirements

  • Demonstrated success when advising and coaching business leaders and other stakeholders on HR matters, market best-practices and all day-to-day people and culture matters
  • Demonstrated success building relationships and collaborating with COEs and cross functional partners
  • Ability to work effectively in a highly matrixed organization and develop strong relationships across all levels of the organization
  • Successfully led complex cross-functional projects
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfort with technology and curiosity to leverage AI in day to day activities and solutioning for the business
  • Exposure to delivering presentations and engaging with senior leadership
