Job Description

Director of Wellness and Activities: Full-time. Aegis Therapies, one of the nation’s leading providers of contract rehabilitation and wellness services, is hiring a Director of Wellness and Activities to join our supportive team and reap the benefits of some of the best career advantages in the industry. EnerG wellness programs take traditional recreational activities to a new level, offering an individualized, results-driven approach to enhance health and happiness.

Job Responsibility

  • Schedule the monthly calendar: 5-7 exercises or activities per day. Group exercise/activities
  • Wellness and traditional activity/recreational programming responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Director of Rehabilitation
  • Lead Instructor
  • Market our program

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Specialty certification as personal trainer, exercise specialist, fitness instructor, health and fitness specialist or similar area, preferred
  • Background in exercise and activity training with senior populations, preferred

  • Responsible for overseeing the completion of the monthly updates and reporting any pertinent changes to the responsible party
  • Partners with other department coordinators to identify, review, and discuss potential change in service/medication levels if applicable
  • Ensures the resident’s service plan is updated as indicated by state regulations
