The Director of Transaction Services will lead and grow our Transaction Advisory practice by driving strategic initiatives to expand service offerings, strengthening market presence, and serving as a trusted advisor to clients and internal stakeholders on complex transaction matters. This role is responsible for building and managing a high-performing team, cultivating client relationships, and leveraging an established professional network to generate new business opportunities.
Job Responsibility:
Owns and executes the strategic vision for the Transaction Services practice, aligning with firm goals
Builds and leads a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning
Develops and implements growth strategies to expand service offerings and market share
Actively represents the firm in professional associations, civic organizations, and industry events
Drives thought leadership through speaking engagements, publications, and participation in industry panels
Identifies and pursues opportunities to cross-sell services and deepen client relationships
Provides strategic guidance on due diligence, valuations, and transaction structuring
Monitors market trends, regulatory changes, and economic developments to anticipate client needs and inform advisory strategies
Performs and oversees the delivery of high-quality advisory services, ensuring technical excellence and compliance with GAAP and industry standards
Manages practice profitability, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation
Establishes and maintains efficient processes for project execution, quality control, and client communication
Manage, perform, and deliver diligence projects including assessing the company’s financial health, risks, and growth potential
Analyze financial statements, contracts, legal matters, and operational aspects
Evaluate the sustainability and accuracy of financial statements
Analysis related to working capital, free cash flow and other key elements of the business
Advise clients on deal terms, including purchase price, earn-outs, and warranties
Review legal documents such as Letters of Intent (LOIs) and purchase agreements
Provide financial modeling, scenario analysis, and projections to guide decision making
Analyze historical financial data and predict future performance
Assist clients in securing financing for acquisitions or other business needs
Synthesizes large volumes of financial, operational, and market data into clear insights that support valuation, risk assessment, and strategic recommendations
Evaluates key deal drivers, identifying trends, red flags, and opportunities that impact transaction value and negotiation strategy
Ensures analytical methodologies, models, and deliverables reflect industry best practices and maintain the highest standards of accuracy and reliability
Leads complex financial analyses, including quality of earnings, working capital assessments, and cash-flow modeling to inform deal decisions
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
advanced degree preferred
CPA, CFA, or similar credentials strongly preferred
Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in transaction advisory services, public accounting, or related field
Demonstrated success in business development and practice growth
Proven leadership experience, including team building, management, and talent development
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities
