The Director of Technology and Automation is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing data infrastructure, technology integration, automation strategy, and business intelligence across the organization. This individual will lead technology road mapping, systems optimization, vendor management, and data visibility initiatives to support operational excellence and organizational growth, including merger and acquisition activity.
Job Responsibility:
Define and lead the organization’s AI, automation, and technology strategy
Identify and assess emerging tools, systems, and technologies that improve operational efficiency
Stay current on AI, automation, and technology trends relevant to behavioral health
Own IT and data security assessments, roadmap development, monitoring, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives
Oversee a portfolio of AI, automation, and SaaS solutions
Partner with cross-functional leaders to evaluate vendors, benchmark costs, negotiate contracts, and support implementation
Develop implementation roadmaps and apply best practices to ensure successful deployment
Manage software and technology spend, ensuring budget alignment and high-quality delivery
Build deep expertise across all organizational systems and tools
Collaborate with department leaders to map workflows, identify operational challenges, and optimize technology utilization
Establish KPIs and reporting frameworks to measure technology performance and business impact
Lead enterprise-wide systems integration efforts to support seamless operational performance
Conduct due diligence on technology infrastructure and data environments of acquisition targets
Analyze and reconcile data structures to ensure consistency, compatibility, and usability
Advise leadership on system enhancements and changes required to enable enterprise-wide visibility and performance tracking
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in enterprise technology leadership roles
Deep expertise in IT infrastructure, automation, artificial intelligence, and large language model technologies
Strong passion for technology and health, with awareness of industry trends and evolving service delivery models
Strong background with Systems Integration
Data Security along with Policies & Procedures
