Job Description

The town of Westport is seeking applications for the position of Director of Senior Services. This position provides leadership and staff supervision for the day-to-day operations of the Council on Aging department, including program administration, budget oversight, grant administration, and service delivery for older adults. Qualified candidates should have experience with budgeting, grants, staff supervision, and program management, as well as strong oral and written communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in human services, social work, public administration, or a related field, plus at least three years of progressively responsible experience in human services, including supervisory or management experience working with older adults, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A valid driver’s license is required. This is a full-time, exempt position (40 hours per week). The anticipated starting salary range is $85,000-$102,000 DOQ.
