Director of Security and Safety

• Manage security/loss prevention operations on daily basis
• Protection of property assets, employees, guests and property
• Accident and fire prevention and response
• Ensure all areas of property are safe and secure
• Maintain logs, certifications and documents required by law and Standard Operating Procedures
• Develop and implement emergency procedures
• Conduct investigations of property losses
• Deploy security staff to monitor and protect property assets
• Conduct periodic patrols of entire property and parking areas
• Handle complaints, disputes, and conflicts
• Implement action plans to monitor and control risk
• Lead security/loss prevention teams
• Ensure exceptional customer service
• Conduct human resources activities
• Develop working relationship with local law enforcement authorities

• High school diploma or GED with 4 years experience in security/loss prevention or related professional area
• OR 2-year degree from accredited university in Criminal Justice or related major with 2 years experience in security/loss prevention or related professional area
• First aid and CPR certifications required for Loss Prevention officers
