Job Description:

Our school is looking for a strategic leader to take on the role of Director of School Operations. You will be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), ensuring that our financial resources are managed effectively to provide the best possible outcomes for our pupils.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead on the school's three-year financial plan, ensuring sustainability and value for money across all departments
  • Take full ownership of the Arbor Finance system, responsible for the accuracy of the school's accounts, month-end closures, and year-end procedures
  • Oversee the school site, including health and safety, facilities management, and external contractor relationships
  • Manage the support staff team and oversee the accurate submission of payroll and pension data

Requirements:

  • Recent, professional experience using the Arbor Finance system in a school setting
  • SBM (school business manager) qualification
  • SIMS experience
