Job Responsibility:
Develop And Execute A Strategic Sales Plan To Achieve Revenue, Occupancy, And ADR Goals
Proactively Solicit New Business Through Sales Calls, Prospecting, Networking, Site Tours, And Community Engagement
Maintain And Grow Local Corporate, Negotiated, And Group Accounts
Analyze Market Trends, Competitor Activity, And Demand Drivers To Identify Opportunities
Partner Closely With Revenue Management, Operations, And Ownership To Align Sales Strategy With Hotel Goals
Prepare And Present Weekly And Monthly Sales Reports, Forecasts, And Action Plans
Represent The Hotel At Local Business Events, Trade Shows, And Industry Functions
Ensure Compliance With Marriott Brand Standards, Systems, And Reporting Requirements
Act As A Visible Ambassador Of The Hotel Within The Local Market
Requirements:
3–5+ Years Of Hotel Sales Experience, Preferably As A Director Of Sales Or Senior Sales Manager
Experience In Select-Service Or Limited-Service Hotels (Marriott Experience Strongly Preferred)
Proven Track Record Of Driving Revenue And Market Penetration
Strong Local Market Knowledge Of Conroe / The Woodlands / North Houston Is A Plus
Excellent Communication, Negotiation, And Relationship-Building Skills
Self-Motivated, Organized, And Comfortable Working Independently
Proficiency With Hotel Sales Systems (Delphi, MARSHA, CI/TY, Or Similar)
Ability To Balance Strategic Planning With Daily Hands-On Selling
