My client, a privately held, high-growth wellness company, is seeking a Director of Sales to lead expansion across key retail channels and play a critical role in accelerating the next phase of growth.
Job Responsibility
Drive new business development and expand distribution across Food, Drug, and Mass channels
Own key customer relationships (including regional grocery, natural, and mass accounts) and deliver against revenue growth targets
Develop and execute sales strategies, assortment plans, and customer-specific selling stories
Build compelling presentations using syndicated data (e.g., SPINS, eCommerce analytics) to influence buyers
Partner cross-functionally with marketing, category management, and leadership to align on growth priorities
Manage broker relationships effectively while maintaining ownership of strategy and execution
Identify white space opportunities and lead expansion into new accounts and geographies
Travel regularly to meet with customers and drive in-market execution
Requirements
Proven success in CPG sales with a track record of opening new accounts and growing distribution
Experience across Food, Drug, Mass, and/or Natural channels (supplements or wellness category a plus)
Strong builder mindset with the ability to operate independently in a lean environment
Demonstrated ability to leverage data and insights to create persuasive customer presentations
Experience managing brokers while maintaining full accountability for business results
High energy, self-starter mentality with a proactive, results-driven approach
Willingness to travel and be customer-facing
