Director of Sales position at Four Seasons Mexico City, an urban oasis in the heart of the city. The role involves leading the sales team to maximize revenue and profit in all hotel areas, implementing sales and marketing strategies, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences in a luxury hotel environment.
Job Responsibility:
To uncover, prospect and sell group and individual business, in accordance with the objectives established in the Marketing Plan
To monitor and motivate the sales activities and the sales team
To ensure that all sales persons' quotas are met
To ensure that sales activities, individual accounts and group bookings are focused and coordinated with transient demand to yield the maximum revenue per available room
To maximize sales and profit in all hotel revenue areas
To implement and support all FS sales and marketing MOS
Requirements:
Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the required language(s)
4 Year College/University Degree (or equivalent)
More than four years experience as Hotel/ Resort Sales Manager
Good personal & business reference
Working knowledge of computer spreadsheets (Excel), word processing (Word or Word Perfect), and PowerPoint
Exemplary record of performances in all keys areas of responsibility including: leadership, client relations, prospecting and pro-active sales activities, and supportive team player
Solid leadership skills and ability to guide a very strong sales team coach proper Delphi management
Full spoken and written English including excellent written communication and presentation style
Spanish a plus
Prefer DOS experience
Strong sales background with successful personal sales record
Self motivated, self starter
Team oriented with enthusiastic and positive attitude
Good analytical and revenue management skills
Sound analyzer and problem solver
Previous management experience
Ability to implement and monitor goals and standards compliance
Ability to enforce group sales guidelines
Guide in problem solving for sales managers- space /room conflicts, cancellations and attrition
Strength in analyzing business as a total revenue (not only rooms revenue) Total RevPAR approach
Multi-tasking in a fast passed business environment
Ability to perform other tasks or projects as assigned by the Director of Marketing
Nice to have:
