We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Sales Director, North America to lead our commercial strategy in a key, fast-growing region. The senior leader will build strong customer relationships and drive profitable growth. Focus areas include developing high-performing teams and expanding Mowi's market presence across retail, foodservice, and value-added channels. In this role, you will play a critical part in shaping the future of Mowi's commercial success in North America.
Job Responsibility
Define and execute the commercial strategy for the U.S. and Canada in alignment with global and regional objectives
Lead, mentor, and grow the North American sales organization, fostering a high-performance, customer-centric culture
Drive revenue and margin growth across retail, foodservice, and value-added product categories
Build and maintain strong relationships with key strategic accounts and partners
Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to identify opportunities and risks
Collaborate closely with Supply Chain, Operations, Marketing, and Product Development to deliver customer-focused solutions
Ensure accuracy in sales forecasting, reporting, and budget management
Represent Mowi Markets USA & Canada at industry events, trade shows, and partner meetings
Requirements
Proven experience developing and executing commercial strategies across North America
Strong track record of leading, mentoring, and growing high-performing sales teams
Demonstrated success in driving revenue and margin growth across retail, foodservice, and value-added product categories
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key strategic accounts and partners
Analytical and strategic thinker, skilled at interpreting market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to identify opportunities and risks
Experience collaborating with Supply Chain, Operations, Marketing, and Product Development to deliver customer-focused solutions
Expertise in sales forecasting, reporting, and budget management
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Knowledge of the seafood or broader food industry is a plus
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
MBA considered a plus
