Job Description:

Hopper is seeking a Senior Advertising Account Executive to lead strategic, high-impact advertising partnerships across travel and adjacent verticals. In this role, you will own complex sales cycles, close six- and seven-figure deals, and build long-term relationships with senior marketing stakeholders. You’ll operate as a trusted advisor to advertisers—leveraging Hopper’s data, scale, and product innovation to deliver measurable business outcomes—while helping shape the growth and direction of Hopper’s advertising business.

Job Responsibility:

  • Own and grow a portfolio of enterprise and mid-market advertisers, driving new revenue and long-term partnerships
  • Lead full-cycle sales efforts, including prospecting, strategic pitching, negotiation, and close
  • Develop multi-quarter and annual media partnerships, including custom sponsorships and data-driven solutions
  • Serve as the primary senior point of contact for key advertiser relationships
  • Collaborate closely with Account Management, Analytics, Product, and Leadership teams to deliver strong campaign performance and retention
  • Identify and execute upsell and cross-sell opportunities across Hopper’s advertising product suite
  • Influence product roadmap and go-to-market strategy by sharing advertiser feedback and market insights
  • Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and CRM discipline, with a strong command of deal strategy and timing

Requirements:

  • 6–10+ years of experience in digital advertising, media sales, or strategic partnerships
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding revenue targets with large or complex accounts
  • Experience closing six- and seven-figure advertising deals
  • Ability to sell consultatively to senior marketing leaders and decision-makers
  • Excellent executive presence, storytelling, and negotiation skills
  • Data driven with a strong financial acumen
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with ambiguity and ownership

Nice to have:

  • Experience selling to travel brands, airlines, hotels, destinations, or tourism boards
  • Background working with agencies and holding companies
  • Familiarity with commerce-driven media platforms
  • Existing relationships with senior travel marketers or agency leadership
What we offer:
  • Well-funded and proven startup with large ambitions, competitive salary and upsides of pre-IPO equity packages
  • Hopper provides a monthly allowance for our employees in Japan to help reduce costs related to EHI premiums and out of pocket medical expenses
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Work-from-home stipend
  • Access to co-working space on demand through FlexDesk
  • Very generous parental leave, much above industry standards
  • Carrot Cash travel stipend
  • Hopper provides a cash benefit for employees to put towards retirement
  • An entrepreneurial culture where pushing limits and taking risks is everyday business
  • Open communication with management and company leadership
  • Small, dynamic teams = massive impact
