Job Description

A growing healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Director of Revenue Cycle to provide leadership and oversight of revenue cycle operations. This is a key leadership position responsible for driving operational excellence, optimizing financial performance, and ensuring efficient revenue cycle processes across a multi-specialty healthcare environment. The ideal candidate is a collaborative and results-driven leader with a strong background in healthcare revenue cycle management, experience working within multi-specialty practices, and a proven ability to improve processes, performance, and outcomes.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership for revenue cycle functions across the organization
  • Develop and implement initiatives to improve revenue integrity, reimbursement, cash flow, and operational efficiency
  • Manage contracts, compliance and establish new services
  • Monitor key performance indicators and identify opportunities for process improvement
  • Collaborate with clinical, operational, and executive leadership teams to support organizational goals
  • Ensure compliance with applicable healthcare regulations, payer requirements, and industry best practices
  • Lead, mentor, and develop revenue cycle staff and management team members

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive revenue cycle leadership experience
  • Experience within a multi-specialty healthcare environment required (Behavioral health revenue cycle experience strongly preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with Epic
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare reimbursement methodologies, revenue cycle operations, and payer relations
  • Demonstrated success leading teams, improving performance metrics, and implementing process improvements
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative healthcare environment
