Job Description:

Human Interest is on a mission to ensure that people in all lines of work have access to retirement benefits. The Director of Sales Activation is responsible for driving efficiency, scalability, and velocity within our implementation processes, ensuring a seamless and high-impact onboarding experience. This metrics-driven leadership role focuses on consistently increasing the volume of successfully launched plans while optimizing resources and operational workflows.

Job Responsibility:

  • Work closely with the Sales Activation Managers (SAM) to identify trends and strategies that will improve the onboarding timeline and experience
  • Work with / coach your team of SAMs to improve the quality and effectiveness of the 90-day onboarding process and launch rates
  • Assist in leading the onboarding support functions which includes setup, payroll connectivity, program management, quality assurance, and conversion onboarding
  • Strategize and innovate scalable processes to drive higher volume of launched plans
  • Actively work with the Product and Integration teams to eliminate manual processes and continue to drive automation within the customer onboarding experience
  • Scale the team by identifying opportunities to automate and streamline the onboarding process
  • Partner with Revenue Enablement, Revenue Leadership, Customer Support Operations and other teams to enhance current onboarding communication, collaboration, and resolving customer escalations
  • Closely monitor key onboarding performance metrics and implement changes that will drive continual improvement
  • Practice radical candor and performance management skills via overall people management to ensure alignment and growth of the organization

Requirements:

  • 13+ years of total experience with 5+ years of management in sales, customer implementation or related disciplines in a SaaS environment
  • Demonstrated success working with high volume metrics
  • Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding monthly quota’s
  • Experience in SaaS and ability to work in a fast paced tech environment
  • Excellent written, oral, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline
  • Experience evolving and optimizing people, processes, and tools
  • Expertise managing and overseeing large complicated accounts and projects
  • Ability to effectively facilitate change from executive level down
  • Executive-level communication with the ability to effectively navigate and mediate conflict
  • Strong people and performance management experience
  • Work closely with cross functional teams with a broad range of startup and enterprise experience
