The Head of Retail will own Hypervolt’s inbound consumer sales operation—leading a growing team responsible for converting high-volume inbound demand into revenue. With an average order value of ~£1k, success requires mastery of velocity sales motions, data-driven management, coaching excellence, and deep collaboration with marketing, product, and e-commerce teams. Requirements:
5+ years in sales leadership roles, ideally in high-velocity SMB or consumer sales environments
Proven experience managing inbound sales teams with £500–£2,000+ ticket size products or services
Highly analytical—comfortable pulling insights from dashboards, CRMs, and related tooling
Strong coaching mindset with a track record of upskilling teams and improving conversion through structured training
Excellent cross-functional collaborator with experience working alongside marketing, web, product, and operations
Process-driven, organised, and obsessive about high-quality customer experiences
Passion for clean energy, EV charging, or consumer tech a strong plus
