Job Description

We’re looking for a Director of Project Management who’s both a builder and an operator; someone who can design the systems that make great work possible and lead the team that keeps everything moving. You’ll own the project management function at RedTag, building workflows from the ground up, leading a team of project managers, and ensuring the agency operates with precision and purpose. This role is ideal for a systems thinker who’s come up through hands-on project management and is ready to own something. You’ll design and implement operational infrastructure, mentor and develop your team, and serve as the operational backbone of the agency. You work autonomously, solve problems from first principles, and build things that don’t break when you’re not in the room.

Job Responsibility

  • Design, implement, and continuously improve project management workflows and systems across the agency using Monday.com
  • Identify operational friction points and build scalable solutions that enable teams to work independently and efficiently
  • Define and maintain standards for project delivery, timeline management, and cross-department coordination
  • Build documentation and knowledge systems so institutional knowledge is never trapped in a single person
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the project management team, driving excellence through accountability, clarity, and collaboration
  • Lead weekly team meetings [L10s], including monitoring progress on scorecards, rocks and escalating to leadership as needed
  • Foster a culture of curiosity and continuous improvement where better processes are always in reach
  • Build clear pathways for team development and operational growth
  • Own day-to-day operational issues and escalate when appropriate: personnel concerns, critical client or workflow breaks, or anything requiring alignment with finance, sales, or account management
  • Maintain Monday.com as the operational source of truth for the agency
  • Partner with the COO on strategic initiatives, participate in leadership-level EOS cadences, and serve as the operational right hand for agency-wide execution

Requirements

  • 8+ years of hands-on project management experience, preferably in an agency or similarly fast-moving environment
  • Demonstrated experience designing and implementing workflows and operational systems from scratch
  • Experience leading and developing teams at a director level or equivalent
  • Deep fluency in project management methodology and tools, including Monday.com or similar platforms
  • Strong systems thinking: you understand that structure shapes behavior and good workflows produce good outcomes
  • Clear communicator across all levels of an organization
  • Strong documentation habits: you build for continuity, not dependency
  • Ability to manage competing priorities without losing focus or composure
  • You're comfortable inside an EOS environment and can translate company-level Rocks into team-level execution
  • Builder by nature: You don’t just manage what exists: you design what should exist
  • Autonomous and accountable: You own your work and don’t wait to be told what to fix
  • Calm under pressure: You’re the person who steadies the room when things break
  • Curious and adaptive: You look for better ways and aren’t precious about the old ones
  • Collaborative but clear: You work well across teams and aren’t afraid to hold a line
  • Digitally Engaged: You are curious about new technologies and look for ways to explore and find efficiencies through AI
