We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Product Management to lead our product organisation. This role is responsible for defining product vision, driving roadmap execution, and ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. The ideal candidate will combine strong leadership, market insight, and executional excellence to deliver impactful products and drive growth. This position will report to the General Manager.
Job Responsibility
Establishing and communicating the long-term product vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and market opportunities
Driving prioritisation of initiatives and resources to maximise product impact and commercial value
Lead, hire, and mentor a high-performing team of product managers, fostering career growth, accountability, and a culture of innovation
Align engineering, marketing, sales, and operations teams to ensure successful product execution and go-to-market strategies
Act as a bridge between executive leadership and functional teams to drive alignment and decision-making
Own the end-to-end product lifecycle—from ideation to launch—covering feature prioritisation, pricing strategies, user testing, and continuous improvement
Provide recommendations for product rationalisation, adjustments to economic order quantities and minimum stock levels, and product changes based on analysis and customer feedback
Analyse market trends, customer feedback, and competitive landscapes to inform product decisions and maintain strong product-market fit
Identify opportunities for product innovation, enhancement, and revenue growth
Requirements
A bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or Computer Science /Trade background (desirable)
Experience in mining automation or industrial technology industries
Minimum 8 years of experience in product management, with 5+ years in a leadership role
Proven track record of delivering successful products and driving business growth
Strong interpersonal skills to act as a product evangelist, communicating with stakeholders and external customers
Proficiency in using data to track performance, identify issues, and make informed decisions
Ability to work closely with engineering teams to evaluate technical feasibility
Understanding of business dynamics, including budgets, pricing strategies, and ROI
Excellent leadership, coaching, and team development skills
