As customer expectations and partner ecosystems continue to shift in the AI era, the Director of Product Management will play a central role in shaping and executing this strategic transformation. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical product management expertise with strong capabilities in value definition and outbound strategy, leading cross-functional teams including product managers and technical marketing engineers. Collaborating closely with engineering, go-to-market partners, and ecosystem stakeholders, this leader will challenge existing approaches and foster a culture of innovation. Job Responsibility
Lead both inbound and outbound product management activities, overseeing a team of 5-6 direct reports
Drive the transformation of the GreenLake platform into an agentic, AI-aware ecosystem
Shape and articulate the platform strategy, emphasizing embedded intelligence, self-optimization, troubleshooting, and insights that make infrastructure self-aware
Promote the adoption of new AI-driven user experiences, transitioning from traditional UI workflows to conversational, prompt-based interactions
Evangelize the platform's value proposition to both technical and business audiences, including channel partners, distributors, and ecosystem partners
Define go-to-market strategies, partner engagement, and cross-sell/upsell opportunities to enhance platform relevance and adoption
Collaborate closely with engineering, marketing, go-to-market partners, and ecosystem alliances (e.g., ServiceNow, Salesforce) to expand platform participation in broader AI ecosystems
Challenge existing organizational and product paradigms, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous disruption
Ensure the platform supports enterprise-scale transformation, with a focus on sustainability, governance, compliance, and AI-native services
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering or related field of study
15+ years of experience in product management, with at least 5 years leading product management teams
Cloud experience required
must have experience building SaaS products on or integrating with hyperscalers
Exposure to AI-driven product thinking, experimentation, and adoption
open mindset towards AI as a strategic enabler
Familiarity with AI-native workloads, AI-powered platform services, and conversational UI interfaces
Proven ability to define and execute a business strategy that drives operational excellence & profit
Strong technology foundation and business acumen and understanding the technology strategy in the market
Demonstrated experience in working with cross functional teams across engineering, sales, IT, marketing, support etc.
Recognized industry leader for team and people management skills, ability to mentor and lead teams to achieve results for complex, ambiguous projects
Recognized industry leader for skills in cost efficient solution building, financial performance metric creation and analysis
Proven track record working with partners, ecosystems, and cross-functional teams
Track record of transforming legacy enterprise platforms

MBA or advanced degree in computer science or engineering is a plus
