The successful candidate will take on a key role in overseeing procurement activities, ensuring effective supply chain management and maintaining compliance with financial regulations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee and manage all procurement activities within the university
  • Implement effective buying processes and ensure adherence to budget procedures
  • Lead vendor selection processes, including data collection and analysis
  • Conduct contract management duties, including review and negotiation of terms
  • Ensure compliance with Federal/State sponsored research procurement activities
  • Utilize analytical skills for problem-solving and strategic planning

  • Extensive knowledge in procurement, able to oversee and direct all procurement activities
  • Experience in supply chain management, ensuring efficient and cost-effective procurement operations
  • Expertise in purchasing management, able to lead and manage a team effectively
  • Understanding of purchasing procurement and its best practices
  • Knowledge of financial regulations, ensuring compliance in all procurement activities
  • Experience in contract management, able to negotiate and manage contracts effectively
