Director of Practice Management. My Client an AmLaw 200, full-service Law Firm is looking for a Director of Practice Management to oversee the daily operations and strategy execution for the department. A fantastic opportunity to join a high performing, global function

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee daily operations and strategy execution for the practice group
  • Create financial reports, streamline monthly reporting and identify trends
  • Monitor metrics such as utilization, realization, and productivity
  • Collaborate with pricing and project management to improve profitability
  • Drive the annual business planning and budgeting processes
  • Develop growth initiatives, supporting the integration of new attorneys
  • Support professional development processes
  • Liaise with innovation and IT to develop and implement knowledge management
  • Coordinate quarterly practice group leader discussions with Department Chair
  • Ensure the smooth operations of the practice groups

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and MBA or JD
  • Previous practice management within a Law Firm is essential
  • Leadership and managerial skills required
  • Exposure to Litigation practice group preferred

  • Be able to lead discussions, as necessary, with various Leadership levels
