Are you a strategic communications or PR leader who thrives at the intersection of thought leadership and execution? Job Responsibility:

  • Serve as a client-facing strategist
  • Lead SCORR public relations efforts by developing plans that are standalone or part of an integrated marketing strategy, including communications related to mergers and acquisitions
  • Foster relationships with editors, advocacy groups, and industry associations
  • Guide and execute PR pitching and events to enhance subject matter expert (SME) visibility and thought leadership through earned opportunities
  • Set up and manage press release distribution through the wire, SCORR lists, and client lists
  • maintain relationships with third-party vendors
  • Develop PR and media performance reports
  • measure and leverage KPIs to inform recommendations
  • Plan and execute press events, interviews, and speaking opportunities, including collaboration with the trade show team to identify opportunities at industry events
  • Stay current on AP Style, grammatical trends, and client-specific styles

  • Quickly learn technical and scientific terminology

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, business, marketing, or a related field
  • 7+ years of related work experience
  • Experience in B2B marketing
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to deliver complex information clearly and concisely
  • Ability to think strategically and execute on plans
