Job Description:

The Director of PMO will provide strategic leadership and governance across ONNEC’s global project and services delivery functions. This role will sit above the existing PMO structure, driving consistency, maturity, and performance across delivery while supporting business growth. You will establish a globally aligned PMO framework, ensuring governance, delivery assurance, and operational excellence across all regions.

Job Responsibility:

  • Define and implement a global PMO strategy aligned to business objectives
  • Establish governance frameworks, methodologies, and delivery standards
  • Drive consistency in project controls (cost, schedule, quality and risk)
  • Deliver portfolio-level reporting and performance insights to senior leadership
  • Improve delivery efficiency, utilisation, and project profitability
  • Lead and develop the global PMO function and capability framework
  • Own and optimise PMO tools, reporting, and data integrity
  • Partner with Operations, Services, Sales, and Finance stakeholders
  • Support financial governance including forecasting and margin control

Requirements:

  • Significant experience leading a global PMO function
  • Strong background in project/programme delivery within IT or services
  • Proven ability to build PMO frameworks and governance models
  • Experience managing complex project portfolios
  • Strong stakeholder engagement at senior level
  • Commercial and financial acumen
  • Experience leading and developing teams
  • Experience within IT infrastructure or managed services
  • Knowledge of PMO maturity models
  • Relevant certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, MSP, P3O)
  • Experience in high-growth or private equity environments
