We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Patient Access to join a healthcare organization in Appleton, WI. This critical leadership role offers you the opportunity to oversee all patient access operations, drive process improvements, and provide strategic direction to ensure exceptional service for patients and their families.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead and manage all functions related to patient registration, scheduling, insurance verification, pre-authorization, and admissions
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to maximize efficiency, patient satisfaction, and regulatory compliance
  • Mentor, train, and supervise a team of patient access managers and staff
  • Utilize data-driven insights to identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in patient access, revenue cycle, or healthcare operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
  • Proven track record of managing teams and driving process improvements in a healthcare setting
