A highly respected, top‑performing residential real estate team based in Chicago is seeking a dynamic Director of Operations to serve as the strategic right hand to the Team Leader. The Director of Operations will act as the operational backbone of the business, bringing structure, accountability, and forward momentum to a fast‑paced, high‑visibility environment. This is an in-office role that follows a Tuesday - Saturday schedule and an active Illinois Real Estate License is preferred.
Job Responsibility:
Serve as the primary operational and strategic partner to the Team Leader, ensuring priorities and initiatives are executed seamlessly
Manage complex calendars, scheduling, daily workflows, and executive‑level task prioritization
Act as a central communication hub, filtering information and ensuring timely follow‑up across all stakeholders
Develop, document, and continuously refine standard operating procedures and training materials
Monitor KPIs, reporting, and goal alignment to support business growth
Support business development and lead management efforts, including CRM optimization and outreach campaigns
Execute and oversee marketing initiatives across digital, print, social media, and listing launches
Prepare listing presentations, CMAs, and market analyses
Provide hands‑on, licensed transaction support throughout the full buying and selling lifecycle
Serve as a high‑touch point of contact for clients, reinforcing trust, loyalty, and long‑term relationships
Oversee vendors, budgets, and cross‑functional projects from concept through completion
Requirements:
Active Illinois Real Estate License highly preferred
2+ years of real estate experience
3+ years in operations, executive support, or business management
Exceptional organizational, communication, and presentation skills
Flexible schedule, including availability for evenings and weekends as needed
