We are seeking a dynamic Director of Operations to lead and support a hospitality group and their expanding portfolio of food & beverage and lodging concepts. This is a strategic leadership role for a hospitality-driven operator who excels at managing people, systems, and performance — and is excited to help scale a thoughtful, experience-focused brand.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple restaurant locations
Lead, coach, and inspire General Managers and BOH/FOH teams
Collaborate with ownership on growth strategies, financial performance, and brand integrity
Implement systems and SOPs to improve efficiency, consistency, and profitability
Manage P&Ls, inventory, vendor relationships, compliance, and guest experience standards
Play a key role in upcoming openings and new concept development
Requirements:
8+ years of progressive food & beverage operations leadership, including multi-unit oversight for Independent Upscale Hospitality Groups (NOT HOTEL BACKGROUND)
Proven ability to drive culture, accountability, and operational excellence
Deep knowledge of the NYC upscale restaurant landscape and labor market
Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets, COGS, and labor
Track record of developing high-performing teams
Passion for hospitality, guest experience, and building community through food
Experience with Cosmopolitan International Clientele
Must have independent upscale restaurant hospitality group experience
