Primary Job Functions

Job Responsibility

  • Develop and execute integrated business strategies for construction and IFM that align with company objectives and regional operational conditions. With a focus on collaboration and execution related to CBRE Safety initiatives and Near Miss Good Catch program.
  • Participate in strategic planning initiatives and drive the implementation of enterprise-wide best practices across both service lines.
  • Prepare and manage detailed regional P&L budgets, monitor expenditures, lead financial reporting, and ensure overall financial accountability and performance. This will include developing and executing an Annual Operating Plan (AOP) in conjunction with our Finance & Accounting partners through managing revenue, COP, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable deliverables.
  • Partner with business development teams to grow the portfolio, support capture and proposal efforts, and shape project scopes and objectives for both IFM and construction opportunities. Optimize growth in our existing business by up selling, and self-performing activities as well as maximizing CBRE vendor partner relationships for preferred material pricing.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of construction projects and IFM programs, ensuring compliance with timelines, budgets, quality standards, safety requirements, and contractual obligations. This may include conducting job site visits and inspections, implementing corrective actions if necessary.
  • Lead, coach, and develop multidisciplinary teams including project managers, facility managers, engineers, subcontractors, and technical specialists across multiple countries.
  • Ensure continuous communication and collaboration with clients, senior leadership, partners, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Direct operational risk identification, analysis, and mitigation for both construction activity and IFM service delivery.
  • Establish, monitor, and enforce operational, quality, and safety standards that meet or exceed both company and client expectations.
  • Drive performance improvements across maintenance operations, energy management, asset lifecycle planning, and construction execution.
  • Ensure regulatory, contractual, and corporate compliance across all European facilities and project sites.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the success and growth of the regional book of business.

Requirements

  • Minimum five (5) years senior-level P&L responsibility in construction, facilities management, or a combined technical operations environment
  • Federal or defense-sector experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in Business Development, pipeline and opportunity management, estimating, and proposal development.
  • Strong understanding of construction financials, IFM cost structures, and ability to manage complex P&Ls.
  • Experience with design-build and design-bid-build general contracting
  • familiarity with Federal contracting highly desirable.
  • Solid understanding of subcontract management terms, performance oversight, and risk allocation.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, facilities management, or a related technical field.
  • Ability and willingness to travel throughout Europe to project sites and managed facilities.
  • Deep knowledge of construction and operational risk management frameworks, compliance standards, and safety programs.
  • Ability to lead teams across multiple geographies and cultures, with strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
